@roar kad sedneš na motor, ako lanac nema bar malo slobodnog hoda na najzetegnutijem delu lanca, tad je lanac pretegnut. Naravno da ćeš sesti na motor i proveriti ovo pre vožnje. Sa svojih 90+ kg (plus oprema) je lanac bio pretegnut ako sam pratio uputstvo.

Sada sam citao na FB grupi post nekog Amera kome se motor extra svidja ali ogibljenje mu je toliko tvrrrdoooo da razmislja da li da proda ili da promeni. Zar je stvarno toliko tvrdo? :D

 

 

Thanks for adding me to your group. I have a 2025 Ibex 450. I specifically joined the group to see what was being said about the suspension, or lack of in my opinion. My bike has a suspension that feels slightly inferior to a stock Gen 1 KLR. No amount of turning clickers or preload makes any difference. On rough dirt gravel the front forks will literally knock your fillings out. I rode a friends bike and it’s the same way. If this is normal I can’t believe I see so many positive comments from other riders. My 2018 Africa Twin handles much better in the dirt/gravel than the Ibex. I have noticed several companies already have replacement shocks and cartridges which makes me think they know something I don’t. The forks are so stiff that I thought they might be binding but after loosening everything up and checking alignment it made no difference. I had to decide if I was going to keep the bike or sell it. I like the bike setup, ergos, motor, etc, I just can’t live with the harsh suspension. I hated to put a $2000 suspension on a $7000 bike but a new set of Andreani fork cartridges and an Ohlin rear shock are sitting in my shop now. Stay tuned. See less

Nije toliko tvrdo koliko ne uspeva da isprati neravnine. Umesto da se na džombi sabije i upije, imam osećaj da se skoro uvek samo odbije kao kruta vila. Zadnji kraj sličan osećaj.

Da, slican utisak. Smetalo mi kako se ponasa prednji kraj kod naglih promena i sama preciznost da prati put, krivine. Zna malo da pluta bez osecaja kada se pritisne.


Ali nije tvrdo, cak suprotno, veoma udobno i prijatno sto se komfora tice kod umerene voznje po putu i na losem terenu. Navikne se, uzivanje je van puta svakako.

 

@Motorcyclist mislim da je vreme da provozas i vidis sam kod nekog. Svidece ti se sigurno.

Mogućnost podešavanja je ograničena. Same komponente unutar vile ne dozvoljavaju da to radi onako kako treba. Da se razumemo, i dalje je to dobro za ogromnu većinu korisnika i vožnji.

Isto, kad sam pogledao video samo sam se kikotao kao neki balavac. Svakog dana ovaj motor potvrdjuje koliko je dobar. I te potvrde dolaze kako sa neta tako i iz mojih linih iskustava. Ja sam prezadovoljan.

I updated the software on my 450MT from SW 1.00.98 to 1.01.20 and honestly, it feels like a completely different bike. All the low-speed jerkiness is gone and the throttle response is now much smoother and more predictable.

This started when my partner bought a 2026 model. When I rode it home, I immediately noticed how different it felt compared to my 2025. No jerkiness at all, much smoother overall, and the whole bike actually felt more premium.

When I got home, I compared the software versions:

* Mine: SW 1.00.98
* Hers: SW 1.01.18

I then updated mine over WiFi to SW 1.01.20. The MCU version was also updated from 127 to 142.

The difference after the update is huge. This is without a doubt the best modification I’ve ever done to any motorcycle — and at the same time the cheapest 😀

SW = the main engine control software that manages things like throttle response and fueling.
MCU = the internal firmware version of the control unit itself (similar to a computer’s BIOS).
