Yamaha napokon dobila jednog sponzora nakon što su je FIAT i Petronas nategli u d. Japanski naftni gigant ENEOS je rešio da udeli nekakvu crkavicu za popularnu marku.

Otkud toliko nepoverenje u Suter/BMW paket? OK, razumem da Aprilia ima odličan agregat, ali opet...

 

Pa nema nikakvog objašnjenja, možda su finansijski razlozi u pitanju.

Izgleda da mi ispred malih ekrana mnogo toga ne znamo, čim su interesi tu umešali prste nema tu čistog sporta iako izgleda da je sve na svom mestu

Like it or not, Casey Stoner is an all-time great. Just 26 years old, Stoner now has two MotoGP crowns claimed in dominant fashion and ranks fifth in career MotoGP wins, ahead of all the American legends. As mentioned above, he's actually gotten the better of Valentino Rossi during their shared time in the category and by a considerable margin, and no one expects him to slow down anytime soon. And as stellar as his 10 win, 12 pole, 16 podium '11 title campaign was, just how amazing do his Ducati years seem in hindsight? Rossi's humbling further cements the notion that only Aussie Stoner has what it takes to tame that beast -- a bike that has ruined many promising (and glittering) careers but one that Stoner somehow found a way on which to shine. Caustic, shy, irritable, whatever… the guy is a damn fine motorbike racer -- one of the best we've ever seen.

Winner: Casey Stoner/HRC

 

This one should be obvious -- Casey Stoner established himself as the elite power in MotoGP as soon as he climbed aboard a works Honda this season. His career numbers are already staggering and he's only getting started. Meanwhile, HRC did their part by developing the unstoppable '11 RC212V to finally claim a 800cc championship.

 

Loser: Ducati/Valentino Rossi

 

Stoner's rise balanced by Ducati's fall provided solid evidence as to who was the true driving force behind their former collaboration. Even in their worst nightmare, Ducati and Marlboro suits couldn't have imagined '11 going so wrong after their signing of the one and only Valentino Rossi. While the vast majority of the blame will be directed at Ducati, Rossi's reputation as a superhuman racer who can overcome any odds has been tarnished as well.

Čekaj, gume stare dve godine? Ne razumem to... Imaju tačno (ne otprilike, tačno!) koliko komada guma treba da isporuče ove godine, onda oni naprave više komada, pa onda sledeće i one tamo sezone to daju nekima a "nekima" ne, nego nove. A razlog je... zavera da bi se pravile zvezde. Jesam dobro razumeo?

Čekaj, gume stare dve godine? Ne razumem to... Ma lova burazeru. Te gume koštaju ko sam đavo. Puta 120 kom. po vozaču... Plus r%d. Verovatno te starije umešaju sa novima i podele buraniji. Kao pljuge, za Švajcarce ovó a za Srbe onó. Ceo taj posao oko guma (a i svega ostalog u moto i drugim sportovima) spada pod meidijske aktivnosti, kako za fabrike motora tako i za gumare. Da bi uvideli kakvo je sranje u industriji evo jednog primera iz susedne vam Mađarske. Toyotin budžet za medije za 2011 je iznosio 20% od budžeta za 2008.

Naravno S. L. P. R. i još par njih imaju ugovore u kojima je verovatno naglašeno da gume moraju da budu najnovije. Nadam se samo da je Elias jedan od ovih što je dobijao drvene gume jer mi je inače teško da objasnim toliku razliku u vremenima.

To da se oko love vrti sam skapirao, samo korist za gumare ne vidim. Pogotovo što si i sam rekao da je to pre svega marketinški poduhvat.Ili se radi o nečem drugom ili su ovi loše preneli šta je Capirossi rekao. A možda jednostavno samo ja ne kapiram. :stabre:

To da se oko love vrti sam skapirao, samo korist za gumare ne vidim. Pogotovo što si i sam rekao da je to pre svega marketinški poduhvat.

Profit iz pretpostavljenog povećanja prodaje zbog izloženosti potencijalnim kupcima putem učestvovanja u takmičenju ne pokriva troškove proistekle iz tog takmičenja a u nekim slučajevima je čak višestruko manji od dotičnih troškova.

Hayden injured in training accident

Nicky Hayden’s winter vacation was marred on Tuesday, December 27, when he broke his left scapula and fractured two ribs while training near his home in Owensboro, Kentucky.

 

Hayden was training at a private indoor flat track facility, riding a motorcycle for the first time since breaking his scaphoid at the Valencia Grand Prix on November 6. He underwent an X-ray and CAT scan on the same day he was injured, and he has since undergone an MRI. At the moment, there are no plans for surgery, but Hayden will have the scapula reassessed next week by Dr. Arthur Ting in Fremont, California, to see how his fracture is progressing. According to the healing process, the next few weeks will determine whether Hayden will take part in the first winter test session of 2012, which will begin on January 31 in Sepang, Malaysia.

 

"Obviously, injuries are never good," Hayden said, "but it’s part of motorcycle racing. Just like at Valencia, it was kind of a freak accident. I was starting to train again, like I normally do during the winter, at a private track near my house. I came up behind another rider, and he went to move out of the way. I wasn’t going that fast, but he clipped my front wheel and I went down and landed pretty hard on my left shoulder, and that was it. It’s disappointing, but there’s nothing to do about it but heal quickly. Anyway, this doesn’t change my expectations for 2012 which, fortunately, is just around the corner."

The Italian rider will have an operation in Bologna on Saturday and his Team Manager Hervé Poncharal is confident he can recover in time for the first Test of the year in Malaysia, which takes place at the end of January.

 

Andrea Dovizioso fractured his right collarbone on Thursday in a motocross training accident. The Italian rider, who will ride a Yamaha M1 in 2012 with Hervé Poncharal's Tech 3 team, received immediate medical attention and will undergo surgery at Bologna Hospital on Saturday.

 

Manager of the French team Poncharal explained that until Dovizioso's operation had taken place it would be difficult to give any indication with regards to the amount of time the rider will need to recover.

 

Speaking to motogp.com, Poncharal said he was not overly concerned "because there are three weeks before the Sepang Test, which is only the first Test of the year. Also, both Colin (Edwards) and Cal (Crutchlow) recovered very quickly from similar injuries last season."

 

Dovizioso's personal manager, Simone Batistella, revealed how the unfortunate accident happened: "Andrea was training on Thursday and riding a motocross bike. It was a training session like any other, but then Dovi had this crash which he himself described as a minor one. However, the way in which he landed when he fell resulted in a fracture to his right collarbone."

 

"As far as the Sepang Test goes, the first impressions of the medics who examined him are that he should not have any major problems, and they expect and hope for a speedy recovery. Tomorrow (Saturday) he'll have an operation and then we'll know if everything's going to plan or if there are any problems. The only certainty is that he'll have a slight delay to his preparations for Sepang."

 

Dovizioso will be operated on by Dr. Porcellini, the same specialist who treated Valentino Rossi last year when the nine-time World Champion suffered a similar accident in pre-season.
