As an interesting side note, in the Moto3 class, Repsol and Monlau will be fielding a three-rider team. One of the riders is to be an already familiar name: Maverick Viñales looks set to make the switch from BQR to Repsol. The other two have come straight from the Spanish CEV championship, with Alex Rins and Alex Marquez set to join the team. Both riders are fascinating prospects: Alex is the younger, and reputedly more talented, brother of Marc, while Rins is the rider who has been beating Alex Marquez all year and leads the championship.

Pa sasvim moguće, ali mislim da nedostatak termina za testiranje nije najveći problem Ducatija i Rossija. Neke stvari će se dati popraviti uz dodatne testove, ali mislim da generalna filozofija i pristup Ducatia motociklima se jednostavno ne poklapa sa Rossijem i njegovim timom. U stvari, ne znam sa kime se uopšte poklapa, osim sa Stonerom, a i to donekle.

Slazem se Vlado u svemu sem da je Hondi trebalo par godina za ovaj nivo. Mislim da su i u sezonama 2009/2010 imali najbolji motocikl ali nisu imali vozaca koji moze do titule. Pedrosa zna na nekim stazama da bude neverovatno brz, ali zato se na mnogima ne vidi. Ubedjen sam da bi Stoner uzeo bar jednu titulu u te dve sezone, verovatno obe, ali on je gubio vreme na Dukatiju.

Lalajko, cenjeni MotoGP stručnjak Carlo Pernat se slaže sa nama :aha: ;

Without his injury I don't think it would have been decided in Australia, but full credit to the strongest combination on the grid. Doohan smatra da Stoner može da stigne, a možda i prestigne Rossia;

 

"Casey is still only young and it depends how long he can stay motivated," Doohan added.

 

"Sportsmen have 10 years where they can really immerse themselves totally in their sport and live and breathe it.

 

"After that, no matter what sport it is, once you go beyond that 10 years of total dedication it becomes very hard to stay so focused.

 

"So he has probably got another five years or so at the very top. If he stays on his current form then he could win another five or six titles, it's really up to him.

 

"Bear in mind that he had a few years with Ducati when he was on a bike that wasn't really capable of mounting a serious challenge, so he could have already won a few more.

 

"Where does he rank in the history of the sport? I'll leave that for people who have got nothing else better to do, but he is without a doubt one of the best of his generation.

 

"He will go down in the history books as one of the toughest riders there has ever been."

 

"Rossi is a great rider and one hell of a competitor," Doohan said. "He has seven world titles in MotoGP and a few more in 125cc and 250cc prior to that so he has been around the block.

 

"But he is not pushing himself beyond where he wants to at this part of his career. He's not willing to ride the Ducati like Casey was."

Izgleda da je već počelo.

 

Before the PI race Jerry Burgess was interviewed on Australian TV by Darryl Beattie, he said that among the problems they are having is that they are not getting the feedback they need from the rider ... and that hopefully soon the penny will drop with him.

The channel 10 presenters commented that this was the first time that JB (usually very careful with what he says to the media) has openly said anything critical of Rossi.

 

Jeremy Burgess comment on oneHD today was the rider needs to give back information to make changes when the penny drops with the rider we will be able to move forward wonder what he meant?

Nešto mi ovo miriše na patku. Probaću da nađem taj interview na netu. Ogromna lova je u igri i Rossi je i dalje najveća zvezda, stvarno sumnjam da bi stari yes-man JB tek tako po svom štićeniku.

 

 

edit: u isečku iz interview-a na superbikeplanet.com nema ni reči o ovome a na tom sajtu su ludi za tračevima. Mislim da je neko pogrešno razumeo JB-a, on kritikuje Ducati a ne Rossi-a.

Obzirom da su se upoznali na trci u Australiji, gde je ona bila među paddock devojkama, mislio sam da je Ozijevka, ali sada mi je jasno kako je mogla da pogleda u zubonju, Slovakinja, sve jasno :lol:

Doohan said that you are at the end of your career. Would you like to respond?

"Mick never liked that I won more races and titles than him in the premier class. A few years ago they discounted my wins in 125cc and 250cc, to keep him ahead of me, but I passed him anyway. I'm not mad about the comments, and his behavior is actually funny to me. I have even told him this in person."
