moju visinu i tezinu.

Lagan i okretan motor i nisko

sediste.

nizak i lepo spakovan.

horneta.

Inace, nisam pocetnik, A kategoriju imam vec 12 godina. Par

odrzavali, registrovali, sipali gorivo.... I imali smo bas puno ulaganja

u taj BMW ( lanac, lancanici, obe gume, regler, neka creva, malo

oko elektronike...)

ovde slike.. :) Da se i ja malo prikljucim ovoj zajednici :)

Hvala vam jos jednom sto ste mi pomogli oko nekih nejasnoca.

Schaaf, so one thing I have learned and I will share with you is that traffic accidents almost always have multiple factors. If you look at an accident after it's happened, it's not normally the case where someone was JUST speeding, or JUST distracted, etc. There is always more than one factor, e.g., the dude in the red car was not paying attention, AND, the guy in the blue car sped through the light on a yellow. It normally takes two or more factors for an accident to actually happen. This premise is statistical fact. On the flip side, if only one factor exists, it is pretty likely an accident will be avoided. For example... The deer jumped out right in front of me, but I was looking ahead, not going too fast, and I was able to slow and go around without too much drama. One factor, not too big a problem. Add one or more additional factors, and it makes venison-motorcyclist jerky. So, the more factors you can reduce, the morre statistically likely you are to avoid an accident. Now let's add another statistical fact... The victim(s) of an accident are not always the perpetrators of the "factors". In other words, someone can hurt someone else, just by causing a "factor" on the road. For example, a man who doesn't pay attention to traffic, stops short and in time, but causes an accident behind them. In my opinion, even though nothing bad happened in this video, you were a factor. If something did happen, the accident would have been described something like... The motorcyclist was speeding, AND fill in the blank. Now let me also say this... On my bike, I speed a bit. I like to have a little fun. The thing is that, on the street, driving at 75% of my ability is only done if the conditions are absolutely perfect. I mean perfect. And when I do, I know I am taking a huge risk and that it is stupid. I usually will take a few turns and get a good lean, then back off. Not go for miles. I know if I want to keep that up, I need to go to the track, and I need to chill and listen to some music and enjoy the scenery right now instead. You know what I'm saying? What you're doing in this video is trying to keep up with Carlin Dunne on Pikes Peak. It's too fast. It's too fast for too long. It's a factor for too long. Don't be a factor my friend. Stay alive. Go to the track and get your mojo out there. You're an excellent and talented rider. Go to the track and ride your ass off. Save the street for the views and for practicing your defensive skills. Just my 2 cents.

orry for coming back to you this late Gil. YouTube doesn't inform me about comment replies any longer. Thanks for the extensive reply. It makes a whole lot of sense. Especially the part where you describe your own way of riding on the street. Earlier this year my views again started to change. I was still riding too fast but I tried to make the number of possible 'factors' smaller. And in the summer I would've had my first time on the racetrack. Which probably quickly would've changed my street riding style a lot. It wasn't enough though. There wasn't even any other factor than my own over-confidence with unfamiliar bikes involved which resulted in me having a very bad crash. Which sadly put an end to my riding days. I was always completely aware of the risks I was taking so I wouldn't dare complaining now. I just came across your reply today and wanted to let you know. And also encourage you to keep on warning other risky moto YouTubers through well written statements who might could encourage them to change their riding before anything bad happens. Thanks and best wishes.

Pozdrav,
