Speaking before his Sachsenring podium, the #73 was quick to admit that only Marc is currently getting the maximum out of the GP23 package. "I didn't arrive at the limit of the GP23," Alex said. "It’s true that for my riding style, as I said from the beginning of the year, I struggle a little bit more with this bike. The GP22 suits me a little bit more. "But we are not on the limit. Marc at the moment, he's pushing the limit of this bike, especially on race pace. That is where I'm struggling." While Marc will have the latest factory-spec GP25 at Ducati Lenovo next year, Alex - who has re-signed with Gresini - is expected to remain on a year-old machine.
