Ako se ne varam, prešao je na Bridgestone 2008 kad se već uveliko znalo da od 2009.jedino Bridgestone gume će se voziti u MotoGP-u. Zato i nije bio jedini koji je to uradio te godine. Da, i te 2008. godine uzeo titulu. Mislim ono, baš je ispao pička. Ma jok, prešao je zato što ga je Stoner razbio, da se ne lažemo...
