Da, to je sigurno! Kada si to već pomenuo, Rossi je prelaskom iz Yamahe u Ducati već dokazao da mu mnogo više znači koliko će novca imati na računu nego što mu znači da odbrani svoj status u timu. Međutim, ako mu i ova sezona bude loša, a Honda i Yamaha budu na sličnom nivou kao prošle sezone, što je vrlo verovatno, pretpostavljam da će potpisati za Gresini i voziti za znatno manje novca samo da bi se dokopao konkurentne mašine. Zašto mislim Gresini (naravno pod uslovom da odluči da ne potpiše produženje sa Ducatiem)? Lin Jarvis mu je već zatvorio vrata u fabričkom Yamaha timu, a verujem da se to odnosi i na Tech3. Sem toga, Tech3 tim ima odličnu mladu postavu, zašto bi Poncharal bilo šta menjao? U Repsol Hondi nema mesta, i kao jedina realna opcija mu preostaje Gresini. Njegov bivši menadžer Carlo Pernat je ovo javno predlagao još prošle godine kada je Rossi bio katastrofalan.

To crank, pogledaj ovaj link. MCN prenosi šta je Carmelo Ezpeleta rekao na Ducatievom predstavljanju. Evo bitnog dela o spec. ECU: Kao što se vidi, Carmelo sada odvaja spec. ECU od limitatora obrtaja, tj. ne kaže da oba predloga idu u paketu, nego imamo ovo i ovo, što je veoma bitno. Pored tih mera koje bi trebalo da izjednače mašine, sada se pominju i neke nove kao što su dodavanje kila i zamrzavanje razvoja agregata (kada se jednom agregat pokaže konkurentnim ne sme se menjati tri godine). Jasno se vidi da Carmelo koristi odrđene predloge (spec. ECU, limitator) da bi izborio što bolju poziciju u pregovorima sa MSMA, ali to ne znači da će ti predlozi biti prihvaćeni. On ih naravno može uvesti, ima tu moć, ali po koju cenu? Realnost je da će proizvođači prihvatiti, kada su u pitanju mere kojima je cilj zaustavljanje razvoja, limitator obrtaja i zamrzavanje agregata, ili u cilju smanjenja performansi, dodavanje kila, ali spec. ECU - nikako.

Proizvođačima se ne siđa spec. ECU, dok na limitator obrtaja pristaju. Mislim da se ni Carmelo neće puno igrati i gledati da po svaku cenu uvede spec. ECU. To bi moglo biti kontraproduktivno, i to u svakom smislu. Honda je već nagovestila da bi mogla da napusti šampionat ako se to desi, a nema nikakve sumnje da će je Yamaha pratiti. Videćemo šta će se na kraju desiti. Na pojedinim sajtovima (Motomatters) se uporno pogrešno tumači Ezpeletin predlog (da se uvede spec. ECU i limitator obrtaja) i piše se kao da je to gotova stvar. David Emmet bi za promenu mogao da zauzme drugačiji stav, i za promenu iznese svoje mišljenje, a ne da se uporno trudi da opravda Ezpeletine namere i odluke. Znam da je jedini novinar sa permanentnom propusnicom od Dorne, ali bi ipak mogao da malo smanji doživljaj.

CRT? Možda, ali mi to nekako deluje baš malo verovatno. Mislim da će on dosta vagati u novoj sezoni, i ako mu još ona bude prosečna, a sve ukazuje da hoće, mislim da će gledati da na svaki način ponovo sedne na neku japansku mašinu. Problem je što je svojim brbljivim jezikom i primadona zahtevima zatvorio vrata svuda, i ne verujem da će ga hteti u bilo kojem fabričkom timu. Vremena su se dosta promenila, on je ostario, a stigli su neki novi klinci. Dakle, kao realna opcija, ukoliko se naravno odluči na ovaj potez, mu ostaju sateliti. Tech3 ima Doviziosa i Crutchlowa, i ugovor sa Yamahom za prototip do 2013, i tu nikako ne vidim mesto za njega. Gresini bi sa druge strane bio pravi potez, prvenstveno zbog sponzora i strukture tima. On bi dobio konkurentnu fabričku mašinu, i napravila bi se priča da se Rossi odlučio za Gresini zbog Simoncellia, da zbog njega želi da osvoji titulu, i da se na pravi način oprosti od GP-a itd.

obratite pažnju na ovoj pasus koji sam kopirao sa GPone sajta: Kako će to snažniji agregat pomoći težim vozačima poput Rossia i Haydena? Mislim da će teži vozači baš ove sezone biti u hendikepu, i to više nego ikada do sada! Povećava se kubikaža, a količina goriva ostaje ista. Ko ne uskladi potrošnju i elektroniku kako treba biće u gadnom problemu. Mixini miljenici Pedrosa i Puig sigurno trljaju ruke i vide 2012 kao svoju veliku šansu Proizvođači su se sami zakoapali sa pravilom od 21l, i mislim da će biti kukanja kod Ezpelete da se količina goriva poveća, pa makar i na 22l, kao što je bilo tokom ere od 990cc.

Što se tiče titule, pogledaj dole koliko sezona, sve sam ti lepo izvukao. Ne računajući 2011, poslednju titulu za Hondu je uzeo Nicky Hayden 2006, a čak ni prelazak Rossia u Yamahu nije sprečio Hondu da još uzme dve titule konstruktoraa u eri 990cc mašina, dakle sezone 2004 i 2006. Što se tiče podijuma i pobeda, Honda je od davne 1982 pa sve do sada u svakoj sezoni ostvarila barem jednu pobedu (u stvari minim dve) - ne znam da li uopšte ima potrebe da pišem da ne postoji drugi proizvođač kome je ovo pošlo za rukom. Ako te zanimaju pobede po sezonama, pogledaj ovaj link. Ti, čini mi se, misliš da je Repsol Honda proizvođač! Verovao ili ne - nije. Repsol Honda je fabrički tim! Kada ovaj Hondin tim nije pobeđivao, pobeđivao je neki drugi, tako da se to i dalje računa kao Hondina pobeda. Ovo su titule konstruktora od 1980 pa na dalje. Ne znam da li si znao, ali postoje titule za vozače, proizvođače i timove. Proizvođačima su naravno mnogo bitnije titule konstruktora.

As mentioned above, he's actually gotten the better of Valentino Rossi during their shared time in the category and by a considerable margin, and no one expects him to slow down anytime soon. And as stellar as his 10 win, 12 pole, 16 podium '11 title campaign was, just how amazing do his Ducati years seem in hindsight? Rossi's humbling further cements the notion that only Aussie Stoner has what it takes to tame that beast -- a bike that has ruined many promising (and glittering) careers but one that Stoner somehow found a way on which to shine. Caustic, shy, irritable, whatever… the guy is a damn fine motorbike racer -- one of the best we've ever seen.

Ljudi, nemojmo žuriti. Što se tiče limitatora obrtaja i standardne elektronske kontrolne jedinice, to je za sada samo ideja. Koliko sam upućen, proizvođači odnosno MSMA ima vremana do maja sledeće godine da prihvati ili odbaci ovu ideju. Carmelo Ezpeleta (Dorna) i Vito Ippolito (FIM) koji čine tzv. Stalni biro mogu da preinače odluku proizvođača, i da ipak uvedu ova ograničenja, ali je pitanje da li će se to stvarno desiti. Carmelo i Ippolito su već nekoliko puta rekli da proizvođači shvataju trenutnu situaciju, i da žele da se određene stvari promene. Ne vidim kako bi bilo koji proizvođač ostao u takmičenju sa pravilima koje Ezpeleta namerava da uvede za 2013. Zamislite proizvođači napuste šampionat, što i nije tako teško zamisliti, dešavalo se i ranije, i npr. povećaju svoju aktivnost u WSBK. Ne vidim kako bi tu MotoGP ili Dorna bili na dobitku. Najbolji vozači će uvek biti uz proizvođače, to je jednostavno tako. MotoGP bez proizvođača nikada neće biti na ovom nivou. Mislim da će se samo limitator obrtaja uvesti, jer je to jedino realno rešenje. Lin Jarvis je rakao za MCN (a mislim da se sa njim slažu i ostali šefovi): “It is quite a critical moment and we all share the awareness of the need to make important changes to bring costs under control. "We also want to see the show improved, so there are several problems that we need to address and the most critical is the quantity of the bikes on the grid. Mala digresija. Čuveni Michael Scott kaže da je Rossi 2010 pao u Italiji zbog velikog pritska koji mu je nametnuo Lorenzo. Taj pritisak je bio uočljiv na prvi pogled. Ko je gledao intervjue koji su prethodili tim rundama ili možda film "Fastest" tačno zna na šta mislim, i mogao je da vidi koliko je Rossi bio nervozan. Valentino se kasnije pred kraj sezone vratio pobedom u Maleziji, kada ga je čuveno rame bolelo, međutim, ostaje da se vidi da li je taj pad koji je doživeo na stazi Mugello 2010 ostavio određene posledice u smislu samopuzdanja, i da li će silni padovi, koje je doživeo ove sezone, uticati na dalji tok njegove karijere.
