Thank you for the warm welcome!!! I'm born and raised in Chicago, but most of my family is still in Serbia. Most of them live in Beograd, but my dad is from Sokolovo, and mom from Stepojevac. I've been there many times during the 70's & 80's, and then went back in '01. It was great, they had no clue that I was coming.. I surprised them after not seeing them for 15 years!! :'( Anyways, I plan on going soon. I talk to my cousins via Skype on a regular basis. Maybe this year...??
About motorcycling.. I have always loved riding on two wheels.. dirt bikes.. mountain bikes.. street bikes.. etc.. I love to tour on motorcycling. There is something about traveling and being connected to your surroundings that a car can't offer. I prefer going out away from the city and enjoiying the beautiful scenery. I just purchased a '05 V-Strom 1000 equipped with givi side cases already. I'm actually flying to New York City next Thursday to pick it up.. and drive down thru the mountains and meet some fellow riders in Tennesse. We are going to have a couple of days of fun, and drive back to Chicago together. What a way to test our a new bike.. :o
Before the V-Strom, I had a '03 BMW K1200 GT Orient Blue that I bought new. I loved that bike.. so fast.. so smooth and great for long trips. I sold it last year right after having my second daughter. I got worried about the finances.. kids are not cheap :o
Hvala puno Deki(RSVMillenian) na "introduction"!! Ja dobro pricam srpski, chitam i mogu da pisem.. ali mi je mnogo lakse i birze na engleskom. Plus, nisam uvek siguran dali se izrazavam corectno na srpski. Ali nece bolje biti ako ne vezbam!!
