Hello good MZ friends, MZ-Brothers Romania invites you to the annual meeting on the weekend of 26-27-28 June(VI, 6th month of year) in a cabin outside of village Lisa link The location is in the center of Romania close to the north entry of the famous Transfagarasan road, close to city of Fagaras. Access is good, national road + regional road; last 2km is good gravel, straight, no problem even in winter. No need to carry tents, it should be enough place inside. Feri MZ-Brothers Romania

The meeting will be held in camping "Deni" on the outskirts of town of Aiud, Alba county. Everybody stay in tents, but there is some B&B nearby if someone wants to pay extra-charge for sleeping in bed. Exact location for the small crossroad in front of camping: 46.308561, 23.738136 or 46°18'30.8"N 23°44'17.3"E, as you prefer. Routing from entrance in Aiud to camping: route Aiud is at 33km from Alba Iulia, on Saturday if we can wake up in time, we can form a group to visit the citadel of Alba Carolina; At 11.00 o'clock it is medieval soldier's parade and cannon shooting - cannons are medieval originals. If we are not able to wake up in time, still the citadel can be visited (without parade&shooting) as it is very nice and fresh restored. Or, there are things to visit in Aiud, and there is also possibility to start from Aiud a short one-hour ride through a nice mountain-valley: the asphalt is in good condition, almost no traffic and scenery is beautiful. All plans depend on willingness to make group to visit something. Saturday latest 15.00 o'clock everyone should be back in the camping so we can continue barbecue and relaxing :-)

When we come for meeting, I can smuggle some goodies :-) just tell me how many you need - Gotronic electronic ignitions with sensor, they work without sensor too(with points). With sensor price last time was around 100 RON, 20 Euro. I hope is still same price. This I already brought in the last years, you can hear some feedback. I use it happily. I heard also they fit well Moto Guzzi V35, I just heard, don't have. This ignition was developed for older cars(Dacia in special) so you can improve there too. - this year I asked a friend of mine that has access to CNC, to make a few spacers for rear sprocket(TGL 30-25.047), and he made, but he made more than a few, so we have enough for everybody. manufacturing quality is just beatiful, material is much better than the aluminium in aftermarket one, and price is 2 Euro a piece, less than half-price. Tell us how many to bring, Obviously this is non-profit business for me, as I make it for our brothers, 20E for gotronic is exactly the price I pay and the 2E for spacers is the price for the friend with CNC (material and CNC-work) Feri

OK Davor, send me a PM when you know the plans to be in Brasov, for sure we MUST drink :-)) That road is a forest road, and some places is falling apart, stone lavines - around the lake. It's in the reservations so it will not be made soon, general oppinion is that should remain rather as a barrier than an access way for casual tourist. You think it as forest road and not advisable if rains or it was raining before. Some people reported that they passed it with domestic 4x4 (SantaFe and so, not real 4x4) so soft-enduro with high clearance should work. Some passed it with 4x2 cars but higher clearance. You must be prepared, no gas, no nothing, just beautiful nature. Herculane on DN67D is very exploded road Then till Cerna-sat some concrete road From the village to the dam - still ok, It's reported that around the lake the road is narrow, cars cannot turn back, so bikes should be ok it's reported that on the plateau(don't know where is that, before the dam, or after the lake's end) people go to barbecue picninc and this is for sure done by car only :-)) From end of the lake the road gets really forest and goes uphill. When you are on the top then in a couple km you get to normal road. I read this on different reports on forums. Never been there myself but never say never. Maybe you will tell me how it was.

Finally Dear Friends, We are in the situation to continue our invitation from 29 September 2011 with details with the location. Location is 2km near village Maguri-Racatau, 40km to Cluj-Napoca. More exactly: 46.62925 N 23.17050 E The shortest and fastest route(from Belgrade) goes through Timisoara > Arad > Oradea > Huedin > Gilau, all is national road(DN). Then the smaller side-road (DJ) is around 20km until Maguri-Racatau village, quite good asphalt, nice courves and scenery, then around 2km of very good gravel forestry road until the meeting place. I put pictures on our forum and other details on our forum, but it seems these days is crashing the server all the time, nothing we can do just wait, as this is not a paid forum. Later I will translate a lot of things of what you would need to know, and write to "International topic" You(I mean your group) will not need to carry tents because beds are reserved and paid already for you.We estimated 5-6 serbian brothers, now it's too early for you also to give us numbers, we will know this in end of April, May. You do not have to pay for the beds, this is from us. We will stay together at the cabin, tent is not really a good idea at that place, it's very cold at night even in the summer. There are bears also coming sometimes I heard :-)) I warned also romanian colleagues that will come unannounced, that if they really want to sleep in tent, they should be very well prepared fro freeze, if tent is frozen with ice in the morning, I told them :-)) During the day it is warm and nice in middle of June. Hello, I salute everybody in this forum My name is Feri, from Brasov, Romania, I have an MZ ETZ250, blue - in 2011 I was with 3 other friends at the meeting held by our friends of MZ-Svet in Jasenovo. It was fine(let's do it again!) Problem is that I cannot write in the "International" section, because it's locked, because I'm "guest" on the forum, must upgrade to "Member" somehow. I keep a blog http://etz.ablog.ro, it's in romanian(use google translate) but it's mostly with pictures were I wander with the MZ. Cinste!
