  1. Hello guys, I am not sure that this is the right place to ask but let me try. I will go to Biogradska gora national park and I need some an information in regards off. I saw that there is an unpaved road started from the lake and it goes uphill then trough the park. Is this road is allowed for SUVs ? from the law perspective, is it possible to be passed as well ? I am able to see most of the road with google earth but in the forest where there is a serpentines the road is not visible. To be more easy for you to understand when I want to go, here is the road on the map I will highly appreciate any information provided. Thanks Ivan
  2. Okay, it seems that I will go there only in the town of Zabljak :-) Thanks for the information guys I appreciate it. Cheers Ivan
  3. Wow. Hard winter there. This is usual weather behavior during the winter or isolated periods ? Cheers Ivan
  4. Hello Guys, I realize that this topic is old but let me up it. As I have received very useful information from you guys for my previous trip. :-) After my summer trip to Durmitor circle, I have a plan to go there in the winter. My question is when the snow I fallen is Durmitor circle passable by a car. Are they do snow cleaning? Thanks and cheer Ivan
  5. Yes, We are very happy :-). There is one part that I skipped because the road was very narrow and I decided to pass it next time with a motorbike. From Virpazar, next to Skadarsko jezero - Arbnes - Vladimir... Very panoramic road. Cheers Ivan
  6. Hello everyone, I finished my trip successfully. All planed roads was passed, including off-road part :-) I had a very nice weather, plenty of sunshine, warm and quiet. Durmitor is amazing place, also Montenegro at all. After Durmitor we was on Kotor, Lovcen, Budva. Of course I avoided tunnel and pass over the mountain because of beautiful views. Thank you very much to all of you for your information and advices. Here is some pictures I made during the trip.
  7. Zdravo Ivan, Will see on Sunday morning when my trip will start. I will take a shovel in case that I stuck in the middle of the nowhere. Cheers Ivan
  8. Hello Ivan :-), Thank you very much for sharing this useful information with me. You mentioned that a snowfall is happened on 15-th. As you suppose I hope that it will be melt until Sunday. Otherwise I have to reroute my trip. If there is a snow left at the Susica canyon especially on the Steep parts up down and uphill the canyon I will stuck definitely ( if I ever reach the canyon :-) ) Have you been there after 15-th ? Cheers Ivan
  9. Yes, very beautiful country, especially Durmitor park. I have no passion to go there. Two more days until we go. :-) I hope that we will enjoy a nice weather and clear view in the Durmitor. Cheers Ivan
  10. Yeah, No asphalt more fun :-) . Asphalted road is related to the people with a cars like me. Unfortunately we are three people traveling and I cannot use my bike. Otherwise definitely I could ride my bike instead of the car :-) Cheers Ivan
  11. Hello VPetar This is my planed trip. My Starting point is Zabljak, continuing to the Mala Crna Gora- Nedajno-Nikovici-Crkvicko polje-Donje krusevo-Goransko-Dubljevici and so on back to Zabljak. Here is the part with steep part mentioned by Dr. Mracni ( surrounded by red color ) As I said I will turn left after Boricje to avoid steep area and will continue following asphalted road trough Piva canyon. My target is to pass all planed route as it goes trough almost every area of the Durmitor which can be drive with a passenger car. For better understanding I attached a track file. You can use it with your mapping software eg. mapsource or Garmin basecamp I expect to pass this trip during the one day. Is it possible ? cheers Ivan durmitor_offroad_variant.gpx
  12. Hello Dr. Mracni, Thank you for your advise. Yes mentioned part of the road is steep and it is not good idea to pass it with a 2wd car, especially my car. ( Opel Insignia) But this steep part of the road is not on my plan. I will turn left exactly after Boricje to the Pivsko ezero trough the canyon. Not going to climb up, and will avoid this steep part. I am right ? cheers Ivan
  13. Hello Alp, Thank you for your information! It is very helpful. Considering pictures you share, it would not be a problem to pass this road with my car. I have a 16mm of clearance which seems to be enough to complete the road without any damage of the car :-) Okay then, everything is in place. I hope to enjoy good weather and very nice trip. Thanks and regards Ivan
  14. Hello DavorinGS, Thank you very much for your information. I know that Susica canyon is the very beautiful part of the circle road, that's why I will go trough it :-) I suppose that part with new asphalt is from Mala Crna Gora's side and the old asphalt part is from Nedajno's side. Anyway as is possible to pass with the car for me is okay. There is second part of my road remaining with no status regarding the surface condition. Дубљевићи - Boricje. I can see that asphalt ends soon after Дубљевићи exactly on the right turn and starts again 7 kilometers after. On the several maps this road is marked as a service road and I checked it on google earth and it seems that this is dirty road. The problem is that google earth's imaginary is from 2008 year, and information is not actual. Anyway if anybody have a fresh information regarding tis part of the road please share it with me. I will be very grateful Thanks
  15. Hello everyone, I Just registered because of information needed. I will visit Durmitor in the end of May and I have planed to pass Durmitor circle road. I would like to know the road condition in the following areas. 1. Susica canyon. Road between Mala Crna gora and Nedajno. Is this is asphalted or it is gravel ? Is it possible to pass this with a car ? 2.Дубљевићи - Boricje. I am aware that asphalt ends after Дубљевићи and starts again about Boricje. Is this road is passable with a car ? Thanks in advance for your information cheers Ivan
